A single dollar can make a difference! We are asking businesses to consider supporting the millions of children affected by rare disease by instituting the $1 Makes A Difference campaign at your place of business.
Follow these simple steps and show your support!
- Determine what rare disease organization you would like represented
- Determine the length of time that you will run the program
- Contact the Global Genes Project; provide logo of supporting organization, location for promotion of efforts all to be posted on Global Genes Project website 949.248.3139 or globalgenes@rareproject.org
- Head to facebook to post and promote on social network
- Download global genes project widget (jean ribbon) to post on website to promote your organizations support of children affected by rare disease
- Download and print the $1 Makes a Difference cutouts
- Have them available at check out or to employees for purchase
- Collect the money and have the customer sign the cut out
- Post the cut out in the place of business
- Cover the windows and walls with cutouts from participants
- Send your collected donation to your charity of choice
- Report your success with photos to Global Genes Project
